ITINERARY
Arrive in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Transfer & Check into your hotel.

In the morning after breakfast take a walk around the city center, exploring Republic Square, the Cascade, and the Northern Avenue. Visit of Matenadaran (the world’s largest repository of ancient manuscripts) Leaving behind Yerevan you will depart towards Garni, nestled amidst scenic mountains. Visiting the Temple of Garni you will admire its Hellenistic architecture, intricate carvings, and breathtaking location overlooking the gorge.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in the Garni village, savoring traditional Armenian dishes and participating in the procedure of baking Armenia’s national bread lavash (UNESCO heritage).
After lunch embark on an adventure into the stunning Garni Canyon, also known as the “Symphony of Stones.”
Continue your journey to Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site carved into the cliffs of the Azat River Gorge. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the cave-hewn chapels, and marvel at the unique architecture.
Return to the capital. Enjoy a delicious dinner at one of Yerevan’s many restaurants combating savoring dishes and the national folk dance show.

Depart from Yerevan. Drive to Khor Virap. This 7th-century monastery is perched on a hilltop overlooking Mount Ararat, the national symbol of Armenia. You will be taken in the breathtaking views and learn about the history of the monastery, which is said to be the site where St. Gregory the Illuminator, the founder of the Armenian Apostolic Church, was imprisoned.
The next stop is the visit of Noravank Monastery which is carved into the side of a gorge and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
Lunch in Areni where you will visit a local family restaurant and test delicious food with a famous wine prepared from endemic sort of reason.
Drive to the Sunik region where you will discover prehistoric archaeological site called Qarahunj, also known as Zorats Karer. A stop in Sisian where you will participate in a ceramic masterclass. Enjoy this great opportunity to learn about the craft and create your piece of pottery.
Arrive in Goris and check into your hotel.

Depart from Goris. The drive to Tatev Monastery. To reach Tatev Monastery complex you will take the Wings of Tatev cable car. This is the longest cable car in the world, and the views from the top are simply breathtaking. Depart from Tatev Monastery and drive to the North of the country. Arriving at Selim Caravanserai you will explore the 14th-century caravanserai, which was once a stop on the Silk Road. Depart from Selim Caravanserai and drive to Noraduz. Visit Noraduz Cemetery, famous for its intricately carved khachkars (Armenian cross-stones) UNESCO heritage. You will learn about the symbolism of the khachkars and admire the craftsmanship.
