ITINERARY

Upon arrival at Zvartnots International Airport, our guide will greet you and assist you with your transfer to the hotel in Yerevan. Check-in, relax, and prepare to experience Armenia, one of the oldest and most fascinating countries in the world.
Overnight in Yerevan.

Start your day with a guided city tour of Yerevan, exploring its landmarks, bustling markets, and vibrant streets. Visit the famous Matenadaran, a repository of ancient manuscripts, and learn about Armenia’s rich cultural heritage. Explore the grand Republic Square, a center for government and diplomacy, and take a leisurely stroll through the atmospheric Cascade Complex, which offers stunning views of the city. Depart for Garni, discover a unique remained pagan temple in Armenia, standing proudly against a backdrop of stunning landscapes, followed by a visit to the stunning Geghard Monastery. Marvel at this UNESCO World Heritage Site, a medieval monastery carved into the cliffs, and witness its unique architectural style.

Embark on a scenic journey to the Khor Virap Monastery, nestled against the backdrop of majestic Mount Ararat. Continue your adventure to Noravank, a magnificent medieval complex that is surrounded by stunning natural scenery. Conclude the day in the charming town of Goris.

Start your day with a visit to Tatev Monastery, accessible by the world’s longest reversible aerial tramway. Explore the stunning Selim Caravanserai that was constructed in the 14th century to serve as a shelter for travelers. Continue your journey to Noraduz, a cemetery renowned for its unique collection of khachkars (Armenian stone crosses). Reach the shores of Lake Sevan, the “Pearl of Armenia,” and visit the Sevanavank Monastery. Head to Dilijan, known as the “Armenian Switzerland,” where you will spend the night.

Embark on a scenic drive to the Haghartsin Monastery, set amidst the dense forests of Dilijan National Park, and continue to Sanahin Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its architectural magnificence. Visit Akhtala, the fortress of the 10th-century Armenian kings, and admire the frescoes that depict the life of Jesus Drive to Armenia-Georgia border. After border formalities, drive to Tbilisi. Before getting to hotel have afternoon dinner at restaurant Ortachala.

10:00 – start exploring Tbilisi’s old town. Visit Sameba (Trinity) Cathedral, Metekhi Church, and the Bridge of Peace over the Mtkvari River. By cable car, visit Narikala Fortress and the Mother of Georgia statue. Take a walking tour to the Abanotubani district, famous for its Sulphur baths, Clock Tower of Rezo Gabriadze Theatre, and Anchiskhati basilica. Continue to Jvari Church, built at the end of the VI century. From here, enjoy a beautiful panorama of Mtskheta, nestled between peaks and the confluence of two rivers. Drive to Mtskheta, the old capital of Georgia. Take a stroll in the old town and visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Ethnographer before returning to Tbilisi.

In the morning drive to fortified city Signagi, surrounded with a wall and watchtowers. Explore convent of Bodbe, the territory of the monastery offers spectacular views of the land of the best Georgian wines – Alazani Valley with peaks of the Greater Caucasus towering behind it. Continue to Gremi fortress, visit the local history museum and experience the unique traditions of the region at the local Community, where you can savor Kakhetian wines crafted in Kvevri in accordance with local customs. Arrive in Telavi, visit Telavi old town and the food market.
Overnight in in Kakheti province. Meal: breakfast

You will start this day with the Tsinandali Estate – well known for its beauty. Prince Alexander Chavchavadze was a poet and a prominent figure in Georgia. In his home you can find an art gallery and a bar, where you can try Tsinandali – the first Georgian wine produced in accordance with the European technology. Next stop will be Alaverdi Cathedral. Built in the early XI century, it is one of four Great Cathedrals of the country and the highest of the ancient churches of Georgia. Continuing towards the Caucasus Mountains, we will make a stop on the bank of the Zhinvali reservoir and visit Ananuri Castle, check in and dinner at the hotel.

We will follow the old Georgian Military road through Cross Pass, a route steeped in both natural beauty and historical significance. On the way stop at the Friendship monument, our path leads us to Stephantsminda, a quaint town surrounded by the majestic Caucasus Mountains. Here we will drive up to Gergeti mountain and enjoy a beautiful panorama from the iconic Trinity Church. After the exploration of Kazbegi area, we’ll drive to Gori, immersing ourselves in history at Stalin’s birthplace and museum. Check in to the hotel.

Journey to explore the ancient wonders of Uplistsikhe cave town. Carved into the rock, the city dates back to the Early Iron Age, with its origins tracing to the late second millennium BC. Continue discovering Kutaisi; we will embark on a cultural journey through the old town, with its historic charm, while Bagrati Temple stands as a medieval masterpiece. The Gelati complex, a center of learning, showcases artistic and intellectual achievements, and Motsameta Monastery offers serenity and panoramic views, weaving together Georgia’s rich cultural panorama. Before checking into hotel having a dinner at restaurant Palaty. Check in to the hotel.

Venture towards Martvili Canyon for a captivating boat trip through its scenic waters.
